Human Rights Activists in Palo Alto, California, USA

Our History
The year 1961 saw the beginning of Amnesty International, the first grassroots organization working on human rights. Read about the beginnings of this amazing movement.
The Palo Alto chapter started soon after and has been active through the years.
Our Campaigns

As a chapter of Amnesty International, Group 19 in Palo Alto works to protect human rights in our community, our nation and our world. We take on issues such as death penalty abolition, ending torture, closing Guantanamo, advocating for those incarcerated or harassed for their beliefs around the world, and supporting human rights-centered legislation. See us in action below.
Our Meetings

We meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 7PM. Please email us at aiusagroup19@gmail.com for the Zoom link.
